What is InterNail?

InterNail is one of the world´s leading manufacturers of light curing resins for the nail cosmetic industry. The focus is on high, consistently excellent quality and long-term customer loyalty. The wide colour range, the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certified products and the development according to customer specifications are just a few qualities that make InterNail unique. Describe your company in three words.

Many companies switched production gears during the pandemic. How did InterNail continue business?

Due the lack of disinfectants worldwide, InterSolution was created out of necessity and responsibility towards our customers and employees. InterSolution is fully committed to the containment of the virus and to general health protection and manufactures disinfectants according to the WHO formulation, made in Germany. The disinfectants are approved by the Federal Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in Germany (BauA) and certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The range consists of hand and surface disinfectants, disinfectant handgels and various liquids and cosmetics.

Finding the right supplier for a product launch can be both exciting and stressful. Why should beauty brands (big and small) pick InterNail to be their partner in launching their products?

With technology constantly evolving, how does your company continue to be a leader in innovation? Is there anything new or exciting in the works?

Foresighted thinking, acting and producing is essential in this industry. We definitely do that. We are working on a research product in the subject light-curing resins for finger- and toenails with the Technical University in Munich.

Besides this we are also working on a revolutionary product. More info is coming soon. There is always room for improvement. There are no limits for us and we are looking forward to new challenges and the future with our team.

What will your Cosmoprof North America experience mean to you? What excites you to return this year?

We are looking forward to exhibiting at the Cosmoprof North America for the very first time. All over the world people have different needs, demands and habits. The gel technique is the most popular technique when it comes to strengthen and brighten up natural nails. The attendance and communication at the Cosmoprof North America opens new markets, customers and challenges for us.

Out of the last decade, what was the most exciting product launch that your company supplied the formulation for?

The most exciting product launch was our “All in One Gel Polish” for natural nails. The development started with our 3in1 Gelpolishes and Liquids. These two products have been perfected over the years. The resulting 3rd generation „All in One Gel Polish“ has now successfully established itself on the market.

Manuela Oettinger is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InterNail and InterSolution, manufacturers of light curing resins, disinfectants and cosmetics made in Germany. She started with a small nail salon 25 years ago and became an international operating company with 50 employees and total more than 3000 sqm production and storage area.
