Exhibitor FAQ

No. Cosmoprof is strictly business to business (B2B). Manufacturers are not permitted to sell products to individuals for personal use. While we do allow licensed stylists/cosmetologists, nail technicians, estheticians, and makeup artists to attend, they may not purchase product for personal/individual use. Manufacturers caught selling product/services for individual use will be removed from the exhibit floor at their own expense.

Children under the age of 18 (including infants) will not be permitted on the show floor or in classrooms for liability reasons. No exceptions. Thank you for your understanding as we keep your event safe and professional.

No, PBA members do not receive discounted exhibit rates

The Exhibitor Services Manual will be available by October 1st and can be found here on the website.

The Online Directory showcases exhibitors and their products, education sessions and more for visitors to search, favorite and add to their schedules. The exhibitor’s primary contact will receive login credentials to the platform to create the exhibiting brand(s) profile on or around November 17th (10 weeks prior to show). At this time, the exhibitor admin will have two weeks to update their profile before visitors and exhibitor team members access the platform.

My Match is a matchmaking tool within the platform that suggests connections between exhibitors and visitors based on their profile information and actions in the platform. Exhibitors and visitors can exchange messages and schedule meetings before, during and after the show. There are limits on messages and meeting requests to avoid spamming. This will be outlined in the How-To Guide. My Match will be available in Fall 2025.

Exhibit contracts are sent on a placement schedule that begins first with returning exhibitors (applies only to companies that exhibit the prior year). Exhibitors will have right of first refusal on your 2025 booth for 2026.

There is not a business center within the venue so please plan accordingly. There are various UPS/FedEx stores in the vicinity or you can utilize the exclusive contractor (Expo CCI) for all shipments arriving/departing the Miami Beach Convention Center

Both will typically buy directly from the manufacturer and sell to salons. An OTC however, will have a store where they sell to the public and salon professionals (80% of business must be to salon and spa professionals to get on the business floor). A distributor will not have a store but a warehouse to store their product.

A company that acts as a sales force for the manufacturer. They help the manufacturers find distributors for their products, but do not house inventory.
