David Kaufman

David Kaufman is a beauty industry executive with over 25 years of experience in cross functional areas including technology, operations, and marketing services. David understands the importance of speed to market while maintaining high quality and low cost.

Beginning his career at Gryphon Development, a division of L Brands (NYSE: LB), David learned the intricacies of the end to end new product process supporting brands as diverse as Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Disney and Warner Brothers. David oversaw the new product introduction process and systems for Victoria’s Secret Beauty, reducing product cost and improving speed to market and overall product quality.

At Gurwitch Products, makers of Laura Mercier Cosmetics and Revive Skincare, David would expand his skills further as he learned the distinct requirements of prestige retailers, brand founders and international distribution. A complex global supply chain required coordination of component suppliers, manufacturers, and assembly locations to meet customer needs.

Working at Coty Inc, David worked closely with R&D teams globally to design, implement and support materials management, formulation, and packaging systems as well as the handoff to manufacturing.

As the current Executive Director, Global R&D and PLM Technology at the Estee Lauder Companies, David leads teams to define and develop systems supporting product development, supply chain and manufacturing.
