Beautycare Brazil is the Brazilian Project of Internationalization of the Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrances Industries, created by ABIHPEC (Brazilian Association of Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrances Industry) in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Our strategy consists in promoting the Brazilian industry competitiveness internationally, through the recognition of excellence in productive efficiency, innovation, high technology and sustainability. At Cosmoprof North America 2017, the Beautycare Brazil project is promoting the participation of twenty-one (21) Brazilian companies.

In 2016 the cosmetics industry represented in Germany a sales volume of Euro 13.6 billion at retail sales prices. German Beauty Care is the biggest national market in Europe followed by France, the United Kingdom and Italy. IKW, the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association (Industrieverband Koerperpflege- und Waschmittel e. V.), is the industry and trade association of manufacturers and distributors of cosmetic, toiletry, perfumery, detergents and household cleaning products. IKW is supporting the participation of its members in important international exhibitions. The around 420 members of IKW account for over 95 percent of the industry. All well-known big global players of the industry operating in Germany are members of IKW. The majority of the members are small and medium-size manufacturers and distributors. IKW is committed to particularly demanding standards of product quality and safety.
